  • Hannah is a musician and teacher who moved to London in 2024 after 3 years living, studying, and working in Cardiff, Wales.

    She is a recent graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, receiving a Distinction in Orchestral Performance on Bassoon. She joined the Royal Welsh after graduating from her Bachelor’s degree in Music at the University of Cambridge, receiving a First-Class result. She moved to London to become a bassoonist with Sinfonia Smith Square (formerly Southbank Sinfonia), a prestigious orchestral fellowship based in Westminster.

    Hannah is now freelancing as a performer and teacher, having recently taking up work with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Brixton Chamber Orchestra, New London Orchestra, and Orion Orchestra amongst others.

    Hannah is hugely passionate about inspiring the next generation of young people to find their place in the world of music, and to pursue their musical and artistic passions as far as they desire, whether that is just to be able to play a favourite piece of theirs in front of friends and family, or to take graded exams. She is an experienced teacher having worked for music services across England and Wales and teaching her own private students.

    Hannah believes that this progress is best supported by nurturing a safe yet invigorating learning environment where it is more than encouraged to make mistakes in order to find a way through concepts or passages that the student may struggle with, using a questioning approach to encourage students to find their own solutions to their practice problems.

    As an advanced musician with years of experience as a solo and ensemble performer, she brings a depth of musical knowledge and passion for the subject to each lesson.
