Peter

Peter is a teacher, solo pianist, chamber musician and accompanist. He is currently studying piano at the Royal Academy of Music, where he has been awarded the Hargreaves and Ball Scholarship.
In 2021, Peter was awarded his DipABRSM in Piano Performance. He has had success in many piano competitions, winning numerous prizes, and he has performed widely in concerts and recitals, including in such renowned venues as Steinway Hall, Duke’s Hall, Angela Burgess Recital Hall and St Albans Cathedral, performing in the latter Mozart’s Double Piano Concerto in E-flat major. Peter added to his concerto repertoire with a highly-rated performance of Grieg’s piano concerto. In his time at the Royal Academy of Music, Peter has already participated in many masterclasses and curated, composed and performed in a project for six-hand piano music. He has participated in masterclasses taught by Christopher Elton, Christoph Eschenbach, Ian Fountain, Rolf Hind, Charles Owen, Pascal Rogé, Colin Stone and Martino Tirimo.
Peter enjoys playing in chamber ensembles, with notable performances of Schubert’s “Trout” Quintet, Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat major and Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3. He also enjoys accompanying, having collaborated with singers, strings and brass. Besides the piano, he also plays the cello, harpsichord and organ, and he composes. Peter has a keen interest in many different musical styles and periods, and particularly enjoys playing the music of Schubert, Liszt, Bach and Beethoven.
